The Main Task

What Song Shall We Use
The first step in our main task was to decide upon what song we were going to use. This is a lot easier said than done when you have three very creative members in your team who all have their own idea of what song would work better.
After countless discussions we eventually shortlisted two songs.

We of course couldn't come to a decision so we decided to let our class help us by voting for their favourite in our pitch

Time To Research Our Genre
We couldn't just jump into planning or filming without doing the proper research into our genre, alternative/indie.

Storyboarding
With what we as a group felt was sufficient knowledge of the genre, we decided it was time to take our first step into production and storyboard some of shot ideas and get down a short term storyline.
Casting
Casting for the main task was relatively difficult as we knew that we would be filming over a long period of time so we needed to make sure that whoever was cast were reliable and punctual.
Myself was cast as the lead protagonist as we felt that i fit into the role of the typical male lead in an indie music video.
George was cast as the actual artist of the song not only did he look the part but after some test shots we saw that he was very confident with lip synching.
Alix was cast as the love interest as fit the characteristics of the attractive girl that the lead couldn't take his mind off, as well as being very reliable.
