A2 Preliminary Task

To revise and practice on the beat edition, lip-synching, filming to music and shot accuracry and variation, candidates will work in their coursework groups to re-create the opening 1 min and 19 seconds of the Britney Spears video, 'Hit Me Baby One More Time'

Storyboarding, shot lists, casting etc. Must be recorded and evaluated to the same high level as the main video task will be and will be uploaded to the group website

Candidates will reflect on their progressand experience by answering a section of short questions to help inspire/prepare them for their main coursework
The Main Task

To shoot material appropriate to the task set; including controlled use of the camera, attention to framing, variety of shot sizes and close attention to miss-en-scene​

To edit so that meaning is apparent to the viewer and making selective and appropriate use of transitions, captions and other effects

To show creative use of recording and editing sound with images appropriately
Band Website
The Cold War Kids now have their own band website, courtesy of myself, granted they already had one but the one I have created is obviously a lot better and far more professional. Anyway that's my opinion, have a look and come up with your own opinion of it.
