Pop-Rock is a type of rock the often heavialy guitar orientated element of rock with the catchy-ness of a pop-song. This appears to be more popular in mainstream culture as in recent year pure seems to have died out a little bit and become more of a niche thing.

The video follows both a narrative and performance aspect and the message of the music video seems to follow the story of a relationship that is breaking down, as the lead singer tries to show how the relationship has deteriorated.

The rather abnormal and erratic camera movement in these scenes manage to retain the rebellious attitude that Rock developed just through the way in which it does not conform to the traditional movements of a pop music video.

Summary
When it comes to describing the type of clothing that rock artists wear it is typically dark clothes to reinforce that mysterious elemnt that Rock carries with it as a genre. However, as evidenced in the fourth picture sometime they can wear brighter clothes, although this is typically in pop-rock videos.
Setting
The setting of this music video perhaps weirdly shows a tree in the background, which is unusual as you would not expect to find nature in a rock video, although this maybe an exception as it is a pop-rock video.
The backdrop of this music video is rather fittingly orange coloured, as the although the song lyrics are actually quite sad, the song is upbeat. Orange connotes this lively energetic feel of the song.
Relationship between lyrics and visuals
The performance element of the music video creates an illustrated relationship between the lyrics and the visuals, as evidenced in the photo to the left we hear the lyris 'She said goodbye too many times before' as the singer waves to us.
The lead singer constantly moves throughout the video energetically, however when the lyric about her 'heart breaking' is sung he becomes much more static. This suggests the visuals are amplifying the meaning of the lyrics as he seems to be sadder when singing this lyric.
